Mission Statement
The Slaton City Library serves as the free public library for the residents of Slaton, Texas. The library is committed to:
- Providing informational and educational services to all adults and juveniles residing in Slaton
- Offering the most requested materials, both print and non-print, based on community demand and available resources
- Promoting broad community awareness of library services and resources
- Supplementing, but not duplicating, the materials and services of other local libraries
