To request a copy of an incident report or arrest record, please complete an Open Records Request using the link provided, or submit a written request to the Records Department at pdrecords@cityofslaton.com.

Your request should include:

  • Date of the incident
  • Location of the incident
  • Name(s) of the person(s) involved

Requests will only be accepted in writing. Please do not submit requests by phone.

You may also visit the Police Department in person to complete an Open Records Request form.

Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.

If you are requesting a call sheet or 911 phone recording, you must contact the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office Records Division, as those records are maintained by their agency.

Incident and Offense reports are available for $0.10 per page.  Cash only.

Incident and Offense reports are not available over the Internet at this time. You will need to download and fill out the Open Records Request Form and bring it to the station, mail it or email it to pdrecords@cityofslaton.com.  Please allow 10 business days for your request to be filled.

To obtain a copy of an accident report, please visit the TxDOT Crash Report Online Purchase System (CRIS).

All accident reports completed by the Slaton Police Department or the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office are submitted through this system.

  • A fee of $6.00 is charged for each report
  • You are not required to have the case number to locate and purchase a report
