The City of Slaton requires permits for various commercial and residential construction projects to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
Commercial & Residential Building Permits
Permit applications are available for download. Applicants must complete all required sections and submit the completed application along with two sets of drawings for plans examination.
Plumbing & Electrical Permits
Plumbing and electrical permits must be applied for in person.
Applicants must provide:
- A valid Master License
- Proof of insurance
- Must be qualified and authorized to perform natural gas services through Atmos Energy.
Permits will not be issued until all required documentation has been received.
